Community Rules

Wednesday Padel Society — keep it fair, friendly, on time.

1. Be on time. We start at the scheduled time. If you can't make it, give 24 hours notice directly to Ryo (+971 58 590 0001).
2. Cancel within 24 hours and you still pay. If you drop out within 24 hours of game time — or no-show — the full night's fee still applies (a court was held for you). Settle it before you play again: any unpaid balance pauses your sign-ups until it's cleared. Earlier than that, just tell Ryo as soon as you can so we can offer your spot to the waitlist.
3. Pay by Tuesday 6:00 PM for Wednesday's game. Payment for each Wednesday game is due by 6:00 PM on the Tuesday before. The session fee covers court costs — payment details (bank transfer, or Ziina when it's available) are in each week's match-list email and in the app. Payment is what secures your spot: if we haven't received it by Tuesday 6:00 PM, your spot is offered to the waiting list.
4. Three missed deadlines and you're out for two months. Missing the Tuesday 6:00 PM payment deadline three times means a two-month suspension from the community. Courts are booked and paid for in advance on the strength of the sign-up list — late payment puts that on the organisers.
5. Respect the schedule. Match-ups are made for fair play and rotation. No swapping unless you check with Ryo.
6. Use a recognizable photo. Your profile photo must clearly show your face so members can find each other on court — glasses or sunglasses are fine.
7. Track your scores. Whoever's resting in the round is responsible for keeping score on the court phone. If a game's score isn't recorded, it automatically goes down as 0-0 — a draw for both teams, no winner.
8. Be a good partner. Encourage your team. No coaching from the sideline unless asked.
9. 21 and over. Members must be 21 or older — your date of birth is required when you apply.
10. New members welcome. If you're an established member, make new players feel part of it — say hi, introduce yourself on court, and bring them into the conversation. To invite a friend, share your personal invite link from the Invite Friends panel on /me.html (how it works) — the committee sees the referral came from you and reviews each application.
11. Have fun. Padel is social first, competitive second.

Membership isn't guaranteed. The committee may suspend or revoke it for repeated or serious breaches of these rules — see the full terms.
